KIRKBYS STUD ELVIS – HSH has proven himself as an open campdraft stallion, notably winning the 2022 Paradise Lagoon Stallion Campdraft, and twice winning the ABCRA All Round Campdraft Horse of the Year. He is cool-minded, with loads of cow sense, and athletic build with substance and bone.

Kirkbys Stud Comanche is a young stallion with exceptional type and an elite campdrafting pedigree. He has 14 multiple campdraft winners in the first three generations, including 7 foundation or impact sires and mares. Comanche is easy to handle with sensibility, athleticism and natural balance, and is well suited to all disciplines.
Kirkbys Stud Icon has consistently made finals and received many placings in campdrafts and challenges. He was the 2024 ASH Queensland State Show Open Challenge Champion and was the highest scoring wet work running scores up to 90 with 24 cut outs. Icon is a true gentleman with the most kind and calm nature.
Kirkbys Stud Credit is an exceptionally well-bred stallion with 11 campdraft winners in the first 3 generations of his pedigree, including two Warwick Gold Cup winners (ABDUL in 1973 and WARRENBRI OMEGA in 1990). Credit is a maiden & novice campdraft winner, has won multiple open challenges, and is a futurity, led, and hack winner.
Kirkbys Stud Counterfeit has a beautiful temperament and started drafting softly at 3yo, getting the gate at his first start. He broke his maiden status at 5 years of age and won his first open at 8 years. Counterfeit has consistently made finals with scores up to 91. He has won numerous open campdrafts, challenges, and working horse classes.
Kirkbys Stud Echo, a horse with bloodlines from influential stallions Warrenbri Omega and Adios Reflect, has won numerous competitions. The horse’s sire, Adios Reflect, produced numerous successful offspring in campdrafting and polocrosse. The dam, Kirkbys Stud Orchy, also had a successful campdrafting career. Echo’s progeny, including Kirkbys Stud Elvis and Digger, have continued the tradition of winning in campdrafting and polocrosse.
Omega, a remarkable horse with 383 registered progeny, has produced exceptional performance and breeding horses. He claimed the Champion Ridden Horse title at the 1989 and 1990 Sydney Royal Show, and the 1990 Warwick Gold Cup. Phillip, who bought half share in Omega, had 124 foals registered by Omega at Kirkbys Stud. Omega’s progeny include significant winners of various championships.
Adios Reflect – IS HSH, a black stallion known for its substantial wins in campdraft horse competitions, had a significant lineage that included successful horses like Abdul – IS HSH and Barona Amy – FM HSH. Reflect was a renowned sire, with many successful progeny including Kirkbys Stud Echo – HSH, Adios Flo Jo – HSH, Wallabah Excel – HSH, and others, each with remarkable accomplishments in campdraft wins, and other performances.
KIRKBYS STUD REMEDY – HSH has been highly influential sire, with 363 progeny recorded and more than 11,500 descendants in the ASH Studbook (as at Sept 2013). Remedy had many wins at Royal level competition, and sired successful horses, his most notable being YALLATUP REGAL REMEDY – HSH who was used by Glen Gough to demonstrate the breed and entertain the crowds at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Kirkbys Cobalt – IS HSH (Abbey – FS HSH/Miss Radiant by Bignalls Radiant) was a foundation stock horse registered as number 79. Cobolt won the Australian Championship at Glen Innes in 1970 as a four-year-old. Cobalt had 196 registered progeny and can still be seen in the pedigrees of Kirkbys Stud horses today. His daughter, Kirkbys Abaleen – IM HSH, Kirkbys Bikini – IM HSH, Kirkbys Calcium – HSH, Kirkbys Clowdy – HSH, and Kirkbys Ruby – HSH, have produced progeny that have won some of the country’s most prestigious events.
