With the 2025 Dalby Stock Horse Sale only a week away, I figured I should do a post on our sale horse, Kirkbys Stud Pasito. Pasito is a 3-year-old gelding by Kirkbys Stud Counterfeit (Hazelwood Conman x Kirkbys Stud Gleam) and out of Wallah Eve (Warrenbri Omega x Gay Illusion).

Pasito is a double cross of Omega and has the cool mindedness you’d expect. He’s a kind going gelding, with athleticism, natural balance, and an eagerness to please. Pasito is a good type, with bone and substance, and a smooth gait. Started on cattle and travelled to campdrafts for a look, handling the environment like an old horse. He should mature to 15.1 hh (both parents are 15.1). Pasito will compete in some ASH classes at Warwick QLD State show the weekend prior to the sale, and also in the 5 yr old and under challenge at Dalby.
