MACNAMARA CONBRACE – HSH was purchased for a record breaking $170,000 at the 2025 Dalby Stock Horse Sale because of her athletic ability, quiet nature, size, substance, and of course her breeding. She has depth of proven campdraft performance on both sides of her pedigree. Her dam and granddam are open campdraft mares, and she’s by the legendary HAZELWOOD CONMAN. On her first start after purchasing her, she won the 2026 Hamilton Maiden A Campdraft.

HAZELWOOD CONMAN – IS HSH has reached legendary status and is a truly great sire. Some of his career highlights include winning the 2013 Landmark Classic Stallion Shootout, the 2009 Chinchilla Grandfather Clock, the 2009 Barnes Trophy at Warwick, the 2009 Warwick Champions of Champions, the 2008 Frazers Transport Stallion Campdraft, the 2006 ASH Nationals Stallion Campdraft, and the 2005 Warwick Ladies Campdraft. His progeny have gone on to achieve outstanding success in campdrafting, showing, and stock work, reflecting his ability to stamp desirable traits onto his offspring. We also have two other Conman mares: Contiki & Marvel.

MCNAMARA EMBRACE – HSH is an open campdraft mare from a family that has produced many campdraft winners.

Her Sire, MCNAMARA ACROBAT – IS HSH, died at a young age (10 yo), and therefore did not have a large number of progeny (173). Yet, they have proven themselves with Acrobat ranked 26th on Dan Redgen’s 1970-2021 Elite Campdraft Statistics with six first-generation winners, four second-generation winners, and one third-generation winner from the elite campdrafts of Australia. In 2004, 12 Acrobat sired horses won 14 campdrafts in nine consecutive weeks, followed by ten Acrobat offspring winning 12 campdrafts in seven consecutive weeks. He had a great temperament and won a beginners campdraft with a 7-year-old rider when he was only 4-years-old himself. Acrobat’s dam, COMARA CINDERS, has produced multiple campdraft winners and producers including MCNAMARA REFUND (open stallion who was in the top 10 ACA sire standings for many years), LELANT CONCEIT (open mare), and LELANT COMMENT (sold for $60,000 at the 2025 Dalby ASH Sale).

Embrace’s dam, LELANT DOLLETTE, was a very successful multiple open-winning campdraft mare, campaigned by Steve and Karen McNamara, as well as a producer of other open campdraft winners such as MCNAMARA LETHAL DOLL (camp score of 25 with Joe Payne at the 2017 Glenmorgan Campdraft). Dollette’s dam was also a well-regarded mare for her ability and consistency in the campdraft arena.
