Kaspers Versace has taken out the 2025 SCA Reserve Champion Novice Horse of the Year – a well-deserved recognition for a mare that keeps stepping up every run.

Versace only competed for half the SCA season and missed the Championship by half a point, and is now an Open winning mare—a testament to her and David Murphy’s consistent partnership. We’re incredibly proud to see her representing the stud and to watch her make her mark in the campdraft arena.

Versace also won Novice Horse of the Year and All-Round Horse of the Year for the SCA Zone 5 Championship.

Clearchoice Contiki, who was also only campaigned for half the season and is now a Novice winner, won the Zone 5 Maiden Horse of the Year and 5th in the All-Round Horse of the Year.

Big congratulations to Versace, Contiki, and Murph – this season will be another exciting chapter for them!

Thank you to the Southern Campdrafting Association and David Murphy.
