CLEARCHOICE CONTIKI – HSH is a remarkable Conman mare who made the 2025 Ringers Western Willinga Park Gold Buckle final and became infamous for continuing her run without her rider, David Murphy, after a fall – see video below. Contiki was the top-priced yearling at Toowoomba Supreme Sale in 2017, returning for the challenge in 2018 to be a finalist. In 2021, Contiki was =7th in the Novice at the ACA National Finals at Nebo (262 – 87/88/87) and finalled in maiden and novice drafts in 2022.

Since being owned by Kirkbys Stud, she has broken her maiden status in a very consistent weekend at the 2025 Western District Campdraft with David Murphy, placing =2nd in Friday’s maiden (85/88), followed by a 2nd after a runoff in Saturday’s maiden (88/86/89), and then won Sunday’s maiden (89/87). Contiki has also excelled in ranch sorting, placing third Nationally and as SA Rookie of the Year in 2024, and has excelled in challenges, obtaining overall places and winning time trials. Contiki is a very willing mare, with a good walk, and incredible ability to read cattle.

Contiki is the dam of TRINITY CONTMPLAYTE (by One More Playboy) who sold for $50,000 at the 2024 Nutrien Classic Sale by Warwick & Fiona Lawrence to Hacon Family Trading. HAZELWOOD CONMAN – IS HSH  has reached legendary status and is a truly great sire. Some of his career highlights include winning the 2013 Landmark Classic Stallion Shootout, the 2009 Chinchilla Grandfather Clock, the 2009 Barnes Trophy at Warwick, the 2009 Warwick Champions of Champions, the 2008 Frazers Transport Stallion Campdraft, the 2006 ASH Nationals Stallion Campdraft, and the 2005 Warwick Ladies Campdraft.

CLEARCHOICE ROMA RIA – HSH was an outstanding campdraft mare, winning 12 campdrafts including 6 opens and more than 30 places. She also won challenges, rookie horse and open horse campdraft awards. Roma Ria produced three foals, two living. CLEARCHOICE CONTRABAND – HSH (a full brother to Contiki), has been successful for Nick Roe, winning the Rookie Challenge and placing 9th in the Open Challenge at the 2018 Toowoomba Stockman’s Challenge.
