We are stoked to welcome to the stud KIRKBYS STUD ELVIS – HSH, who is exceptionally quiet in temperament yet an elite open campdraft competitor—an essential combination for our breeding philosophy. We aim to breed genuine all‑rounders that suit a wide range of riders, and Elvis ticks the box. He is cool-minded, with loads of cow sense, an athletic build with substance and bone, and a quick walker with desire to work.

Elvis is sired by open campdraft stallion KIRKBYS STUD ECHO – HSH and out of novice mare and proven producer KIRKBYS STUD MADONNA – HSH. Elvis carries a double cross of WARRENBRI OMEGA – IS HSH and is from an exceptionally strong maternal line that has produced multiple open campdrafters, Royal Show and National champions, exported showjumpers, polocrosse horses, and challenge campions. 

Not only is Elvis from a strong family line but his progeny are performing. BARMAC SMOKEY (6 yo) has racked up over 15 junior campdraft wins and placings and has scored up to 91 in open campdrafts; GUNDARA GRACELAND (7 yo) has won multiple juvenile campdrafts, challenge championships, and ASH awards, and BARMAC ELMO (7 yo) has secured top-three finishes in prestigious challenges in Northern Qld.
