Kirkbys Stud was proud to sponsor the Stallion Campdraft in memory of my Dad, Phillip Kirkby. Dad had a passion for breeding exceptional horses, and sponsoring his memorial draft allows us to honour his legacy, especially as there were three Kirkbys Stud Prefix stallions competing—KIRKBYS STUD ELVIS, KIRKBYS STUD CONTENDER, and KIRKBYS STUD COUNTERFEIT.

However, it was Mobile Pricetag and David Murphy who took out the win—and Pricetag is a grandson of Kirkbys Stud Theo. It was also nice to see Ben Newbury take out =5th with his two stallions Yarrawa Noon Rider (Kirkbys Stud Amy’s grandson) and Coolum Quartz (maternal brother to our Coolum Ovation).

A huge congrats to all the fabulous stallions that competed in the ASH National Campdraft.
