It seems to be the season for colt foals…again! 2024 saw all three mares produce colts…making six colts from eight foals in the last three years.
The first is a brown colt by EAGLE HUSTLER – HSH (by Hazelwood Conman and out of Kirkbys Stud Bonita) and out of KIRKBYS STUD WHITE ROSE – HSH (by Chevin Ivory and out of Kirkbys Stud Rosalie). Like all Rosie’s foals, he is cool-minded and well conformed. He carries four crosses of Warrenbri Romeo, a double cross of Warrenbri Omega, Elliotts Creek Cadet, Blue Moon Mystic, and nine foundation or impact ASH mares in the first four generations.
The second foal is a chestnut colt by One Stylish Pepto (by Peptos Stylish Oak and out of One Moore Spin) and out of KIRKBYS STUD CATNAP – HSH (by Cattle Ray and out of Kirkbys Stud Madonna). This bloke carries Docs Spinifex, Peptoboonsmal, Abbey, Rivoli Ray, Warrenbri Romeo, Abdul, and has four foundation or impact ASH mares in the first four generations.
The last mare to foal was COOLUM OVATION – HSH (by Westons Yakka and out of Coolum Omen) who had a bay colt by KIRKBYS STUD COUNTERFEIT – HSH (by Hazelwood Conman and out of Kirkbys Stud Gleam – both open draft winners). This foal has a depth of breeding; this foal carries five foundation or impact horses in the first four generations.
